Together, Robert and Janet have been involved in growing churches for several years, including being on staff of a church that grew from under 400 to almost 1,000 in three years. Then, they traveled for another three years helping churches around the country strengthen their prayer ministries. They learned a great deal more about what grows healthy churches and keeps other churches from growing.

Prior to working with Janet, Robert served for seven years as minister in a church that grew. He has worked as Director of Education for one denomination and Coordinator of Adult Education for a large church. His doctorate in clinical psychology and research prepared him to create valid surveys.

After receiving his Ph.D. in psychology, and before entering ministry, Robert worked for 25 years in clinical research, including statistical analysis and designing valid and reliable surveys.

In addition to her ordination and Master's degree in psychology, Janet received training in Spiritual Direction. She has served part time as Prayer Coordinator and Spiritual Director in a large church.

Before entering ministry, Janet received a degree in library science and became head librarian of a community library.
